Affirming and Inclusive – a way of life…

Were the groups you hung out with in high school “affirming and inclusive”? Maybe not so much??

Meet Lexington Lawson, writer and producer for McTucky Fried High, a comedic, animated web series about an ensemble of teen foods as they navigate sexuality, gender identity, feminism, religion, discrimination, and self-discovery in high school. It creates affirming and inclusive LGBTQ narratives centralizing youth issues.

Lexington L. Lawson is a writer, producer, and community organizer with special focus on youth experiences and LGBTQ identities. Lexington is the Coordinator for the Office of LGBTQ Culture & Community at Columbia College Chicago, Youth Sponsor at Unity in Chicago, Co-Host of the online radio program The Life Lab on E3Radio and writer and producer for the animated webseries McTucky Fried High. The thread of all his work is to create opportunities for people to know their own truth, be the best version of themselves and have the courage to make their dreams a reality.
