Peter Polzak has been a full time professional musician in Chicago for over 30 years. He has performed for or with: Tony Bennet/Paul Desmond/Gene Hackman/Roberta Flack/Julie Andrews/Dave Brubeck/Dizzy Gillespie/Linda Clifford/Morgana King/Aretha Franklin The Bozeman Symphony Orchestra and in the political arena, a number of senators, governors and mayors. Early in his career he was signed to Mercury Records as a song writer.

Peter has led his trio at many venues in the Chicago area including the famous Pump Room and Lakeside Green room. His discography includes recordings on the USA,Columbia,and Capital labels. A talented and in demand arranger and producer, Peter has worked in that capacity for many vocalists and, together with Megon McDonough, produced and arranged Megon’s hit show “Her Way”.

Peter is listed in “Who’s Who In Colleges and Universities” for his contributions to the music program while attending U.W.G.B. and received several awards for performance and arrangements for the U.W.G.B. Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Prof. Lovell Ives. For the past 8 years Peter has been Music Director for Unity in Chicago. He is the Great Grandson of August Ringling, one of the five founding brothers of the Ringling Brothers Circus.
