Meet Lisa Pinsker, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course instructor.
MBSR course instructor, Lisa Pinsker, has completed training programs under the direction of Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD, the creator of MBSR and The Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School. Having extensive experience in mind/body practices as both a practitioner and as an instructor, Lisa has worked in the area of mindfulness-based programs and services with a wide variety of public, patient and healthcare provider populations.
Practicing and teaching in the Kansas City area since 2006, she offers formal 6-8 week courses in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness of Food and Eating and Mindful Yoga for Every Body.
Half-day and longer programs such as Mindfulness and Pain, Mindfulness in the Workplace, Mindfulness in Medicine are also available. Lisa works with individuals for private mindfulness coaching and counseling by appointment.
