Sit under the Bodhi Tree with Rev. Lola!!!

Mom, Mentor, Minister… what a life!

As the Spiritual Leader of Bodhi Spiritual Center in Chicago, she’s found awakening from being willing to lean into EVERYTHING that crosses her life path.

Whether it was her parents’ public and difficult divorce, or her own “riches to rags to riches” story, Lola has not only grown in wisdom and grace, but has a marvelous sense of humor about life in general.

Rev. Lola P. Wright grew up in Chicago. She was raised by a family of spiritual seekers. Lola began her own journey of faith around the age of 22 when she found herself as a single mom of two young children.

Rev. Lola began attending Bodhi in 2005. She enthusiastically served and voraciously took classes for the next several years. The teachings and community transformed her life and in 2007 Lola met her husband Nathan at Bodhi. Rev. Lola completed her Ministerial training at Emerson Theological Institute and now serves as a Licensed Minister with the Centers for Spiritual Living. Lola has studied with Mary Manin Morrissey and the Life Mastery Institute, Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith and Pioneers for the Possible, Landmark Worldwide and Jim Morningstar and Transformations Worldwide Learning Community.

Rev. Lola married her professional experience of years with major financial institutions with her spiritual quest. She is known for her commitment, dedication and perseverance. Her playful and joyful spirit is infectious. And her complete devotion to authentic and clear communication powerfully impacts the people she serves and loves. Lola and Nathan have been married since 2007 and have four children Laurand (17), Trey (15), Caroline (6) and J.P. (3). Get ready to open your heart with Monday’s interview, awakening is waiting for you!
