Being inclusive…we’d all like to say we live that way, but I wonder if we do? It is the rare individual that can see God in all living beings.
Monday, my “naked” interview is with Brother Joe Kilikevice, a Dominican Friar who founded the Shem Center for Interfaith Spirituality.
Brother Joe founded the Shem Center for Interfaith Spirituality in Chicago. Shem means “the splendid radiance of the Divine found in all Creation.” We will discuss inclusiveness and it’s power to peel away all resistance to Love. When one says,”You are full of Shem, you can say – OH, THANK YOU!”
At the Shem Center, the sojourners of all spiritual paths and faith traditions (as well as the spiritually homeless) are welcomed into a sacred space where the prayer, meditation, rituals and wisdom of the peoples of the world are experienced and reflected upon.
